CDP CHEF WANTED - UP TO £14.25 PER HOUR INCLUDING TRONC PLUS BENEFITS

The Woolpack is possibly one of Kent’s most attractive pub destinations, nestled in the heart of the countryside just above Romney Marsh, in the village of Warehorne, while still only being a 15 minute drive from Ashford, 20 mins from Rye and 15 mins from Tenterden. The menu, overseen by Head Chef James Pearce, focuses on the best locally sourced and seasonal produce from the surrounding fields and coastline, built around a core menu plus daily specials.
Situated directly in front of Warehorne Church, The Woolpack also boasts 5 stunning guest rooms and a large garden terrace that looks out across the surrounding fields. David and his kitchen team focus on a slightly more detailed level of cooking than its sister sites in the wider group, which truly sets it apart as a food lovers destination pub.
We are looking for hardworking and creative industry professionals to join the team. We are ideally looking for a CDP Chef with at least 1 year experience in a high end, fast paced kitchen. We offer excellent opportunities to all of our chefs and encourage them to get involved with new menu ideas and work closely with the Head Chefs which encourages personal development. As part of the wider Rocksalt and PIckled Egg Pub Group, this is a fantastic opportunity for career progression within the company.
You must have a willingness to learn, the ability to remain calm under pressure and have great communication skills. NVQ level 2 or 3 and basic food hygiene certificate preferred but not essential. All kitchen positions arew based on 45 hours per week with optional overtime available on a pro-rata rate.
