JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in food preparation and cooking. As a CDP, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu specifications.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of your designated kitchen section.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely meal preparation.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
