An opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Community Dental Service, Health Inclusion Dental Service. The post holder will work part of a clinical team with individual responsibility for providing key administrative and coordinating duties to the Dental Health Inclusion clinics.

The post Holder will support a clinical team to provide dental care to people experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, asylum seekers, prison leavers, sex workers and traveller communities including special care patients with conditions including learning disabilities, physical impairment including obesity, mental health, medically-compromising conditions, and those with social barriers.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are required along with a flexible approach towards work.
To provide a full range of comprehensive administrative support to the Community Dental Service(CDS) in support of the effective delivery of dental care to patients with complex conditions. The role involves being an integral member of the CDS team working under direction from the Community Dental Nurse Manager. The clinical coordinator liaises closely with patients, with complex medical and social histories, clinicians and other health care professionals to provide an efficient administrative service along with supporting the new Health Inclusion Service with in the CDS.
The role will involve communication with patients, carers, the wider MDT and other specialist services to allow the dental team to deliver well-coordinated dental care to those with complex needs. This will be done in a professional and sensitive manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
