QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate required
  • Math major/minor required, secondary certification.
  • Demonstrated interest/experience in working with adult students
  • Technology proficiency
  • Ability to foster an effective learning environment for multiple age levels
  • Ability to implement multiple teaching methods, styles, and materials
  • To work cooperatively with other teaching and support staff

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality instruction that supports and aligns to the State of Michigan and the district’s educational vision and mission.
  • Facilitate an environment that fosters the learning of all students.
  • Utilize educational technology to support student’s instruction and learning.
  • Develop and deliver daily lesson plans utilizing a broad range of appropriate differentiated techniques and strategies to ensure learners meet or exceed learning targets.
  • Analysis of real-time data pertaining to student learning.
  • Responsible for tracking student progress and communicating to students and administration.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with students, peers, and community.
  • Follow policies and procedures outlined by the Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
