Description TEKsystems is seeking a Critical Environment Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and UPS systems across mission-critical facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, and a passion for maintaining high-performance environments. Key Responsibilities: System Operations & Monitoring: Operate and maintain BAS, EPMS, and UPS platforms Monitor system alarms and telemetry to ensure safe, efficient operations Conduct trend analysis and generate reports to identify and resolve equipment issues Perform inspections and validations across electrical, mechanical, and control systems Technical Expertise: Navigate BAS and EPMS platforms to verify equipment status and execute approved procedures Apply ION programmability and analytics in PME to enhance system insights Understand interactions between central controllers and distributed devices Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all operations meet safety and regulatory standards Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and performance metrics Top Skills Needed: Electrical systems in critical infrastructure environments BAS and EPMS operations Power panel and UPS systems OSHA or NFPA 70E certification Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word) Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in critical environment operations or facilities management Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers or industrial settings Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics Familiarity with the National Electrical Code High school diploma or equivalent required Must be able to work flexible schedules, including rotating or 12-hour shifts OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E certification required Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lithia Springs, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
