Cease Engineering Application Deadline: 27 February 2026 Department: Managed Services Employment Type: Permanent Location: Cyberjaya Description The Cease Engineer is responsible for the successful offboarding of services for existing customers against an agreed offboarding criteria. This role is responsible for the completion of offboarding activities across projects, technical teams and service teams, ensuring services for the customer are offboarded or ceased effectively. The role will contribute to the development of Service offboarding practices throughout the business, supporting the Service Offboarding function in making improvements and providing a positive customer offboarding experience. Key Responsibilities Cease & Offboarding Follow the agreed cease & offboarding processes. Ensure cease & offboarding tasks are actioned through to completion in a timely manner Monitor the team's mailboxes and respond when required Provide regular updates to all relevant stakeholders, customers and vendors. Assist project managers/ coordinators if requested. Risk Management Identify and highlight potential problems. Use escalation process Be aware of security risks Share knowledge and information surrounding issues Process Management/Continual Improvement Support the continual improvement of the offboarding processes. Support any internal and external audits as required. Work with peers and mentors to progress working knowledge. Upskill should the need arise. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Expected Skills 1 Years’ experience of working in an ITIL conformant Managed Service Environment Technical Awareness of Cloud and Infrastructure Services Experience with the use of a CSM/ITSM toolset (ideally ServiceNow) Understanding of IT service management principles Active Directory User and Group Administration Office 365 User Administration Understanding of managed services offboard requirements Strong and positive client communication skills Desirable Skills Service-related certification such as ITIL or SDI Microsoft Fundamentals Certification Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
