    About the role
    Australian Red Cross’s Community Programs provide support for people to build and maintain social connection and create sustainable independence within their own home. These programs include providing daily transport and social support. Such services are vital to ensure that clients are not at risk of becoming socially isolated.
    The primary role of the Support Worker is client and stakeholder engagement within Red Cross Programs by ensuring the volunteer work force is utilised in the most efficient and effective manner whilst supporting the delivery of services and program operations.

You will bring

  • Ability to work under general supervision, autonomously and as part of a team within a matrix structure
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver outputs within specified time frames
  • Communication and interpersonal skills with ability to with people with from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients & volunteers within community services sector
  • Ability to resolve conflict and work-related problems by exercising judgement and initiative within defined policies and practices
  • Ability to follow and implement frameworks, policies, procedures, work instructions, guidelines and standards

Mandatory Requirements
A national police clearance and a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
