We’re looking for a motivated CEI Inspector Aide to assist our CEI team. If you’re eager to gain hands-on field experience, learn from seasoned inspectors, and ensure that construction is completed safely and according to approved plans, this entry-level opportunity could be a great fit for you. Key Responsibilities Perform quality assurance assessments by assessing the actual-to-contracted service, materials, and construction. Maintain clear and detailed daily logs of construction and inspection activities. Inspect, sample, and test materials as directed. Communicate regularly with JEACES staff using email, phone, and other established channels. Follow safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment. Work independently with limited direct supervision. Experience & Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: None required - ideal for candidates beginning a career in construction engineering and inspection. Qualifications: May require client-specific credentials such as FDOT Intermediate MOT. Certifications: FDOT Critical Structures Construction Issues self-study course (bridges) preferred. Other: Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR. Why Join JEACES?
