We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fixer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in various trades, enabling them to tackle a variety of tasks efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining and improving our facilities, ensuring that all repairs and installations are completed to a high standard. The Fixer will work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in multiple trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, carpentry, plastering, masonry, or fabrication.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and repair tasks.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols within construction environments.
• Ability to read blueprints or schematics effectively is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

• Conduct plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks, installing fixtures, and maintaining systems.
• Execute welding projects as required, adhering to safety standards and specifications.
• Carry out electrical work, such as wiring installations and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
• Engage in carpentry work, including building frameworks, installing doors, and constructing furniture.
• Apply plastering techniques for wall finishes and repairs.
• Participate in masonry tasks like bricklaying and stonework as needed.
• Fabricate custom components according to project specifications using appropriate materials.
• Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Undertake construction painting duties to enhance the aesthetic appeal of facilities.
