We are looking for a Cell Culture Scientist (x|f|m) for Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH for the Application & Testing Lab Göttingen. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing upstream projects (cultivations up to a size of 2000 litres (perfusion and fed-batch)) and data analysis. You will also be responsible for completing projects and ensuring the accuracy of results within project deadlines and budgets. The job is full-time and based on site at the campus in Göttingen.

  • You will be responsible for proposing, executing and driving forward technical work packages within defined global projects in the relevant technology area in accordance with the company strategy and guidelines
  • You will actively participate in external expert groups and/or internal global expert groups or other academic networks in your own technology area
  • You will contribute to research in your field in order to generate new, state-of-the-art knowledge
  • Training scientific staff and technicians in accordance with requirements rounds off your area of responsibility

What will convince us

  • You have a PhD in cell culture/biotechnology, particularly in the field of intensified upstream processes (perfusion), or a master’s degree in cell culture/biotechnology, particularly in the field of intensified upstream processes (perfusion), with at least four years of professional experience in this field
