Description:

Role Summary
The Cell Therapy Account Executive has primary responsibility for developing the relationship with Autolus’ Authorized Treatment Center’s (ATCs) in Germany and serves as the ATC’s primary point of contact with Autolus. In this role, the CTAE is responsible for driving appropriate utilization of Autolus’ CAR T therapies within the account and ensuring the delivery of a seamless customer experience. They will lead onboarding activities of identified centers and will work to ensure center readiness for the standard of care setting. To accomplish these goals, the CTAE/Commercial Lead will cultivate strong relationships with account stakeholders, coordinate all of Autolus’ activities within the ATC, develop Cross-functional strategic account plans and communicate the value of CAR T therapy to key account stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Mapping and onboarding of treatment centers
➢ Develop roadmap by institution of key personnel and cell therapy onboarding procedures.
➢ Facilitate kick-off meetings with Medical, Administrative, Apheresis Managers & Stem Cell Lab Managers/Directors.
➢ Coordinate with Apheresis Managers to guide Cell Lab teams in preparing all necessary storage, logistics, and distribution infrastructure.
➢ Collaborate with Medical team to train the hospital staff including technical and drug-specific modules, REMS and portal access.
➢ Ensure learnings and feedback are swiftly and accurately relayed to the internal Autolus team.
➢ Lead onboarding activities for identified treatment centers, ensure patient treatment processes are in place).
➢ Act as a project manager for onboarding process with cross functional Autolus team, ensuring critical onboarding timelines and activities are met by responsible function (QA, MA, HEOR, etc).
➢ Function as central conduit for treatment center onboarding, documenting, and communicating progress of milestones (CDA complete, IT agreement, trade agreement acceptance, stem cell lab preparedness, QA agreements etc.)
➢ Collaborate with clinical and administrative department heads; supply/distribution, purchasing, operations, cell lab, IT, legal and C- suite leaders for each account to ensure customized internal infrastructure, workflow, and processes necessary to scale new account onboarding are understood and complete upon therapy approval.
➢ Lead in maximizing pre-launch, provide oversight and coordination in thought leader relationships and overall company, therapy, and scientific footprint for Autolus.
➢ Provide enterprise level insights and marketplace information to the organization. Identify and communicate issues, opportunities, and competitive activities through appropriate organizational venues.
➢ Assist Marketing on the strategic objectives, content and planning relating to TLs and key commercial customer relationships.
➢ Serve as a key strategic partner to the leadership team across multiple functions impacting the long-term goals of the Company and with pipeline assets in mind.
➢ Assist in commercial/field facing team buildout to ensure alignment in team and cross functional expansion.
➢ Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as with US/global healthcare laws and regulations.
➢ Other duties as assigned Develop Autolus’ relationship within account including executive administration.
➢ Build and maintain account profile for each aligned ATC
➢ Develop significant business relationships with senior account level leadership, Thought Leaders (TLs) and other decision makers / key stakeholders
➢ Serve as primary point of contact for the ATC and collaborate with Autolus colleagues to create a streamlined, organized interface
➢ Identify and understand the needs of account stakeholders and collaborate with Autolus cross functional colleagues (e.g. Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Quality) to find or develop solutions Manage day-to-day operations within account, including:
➢ Coordinate all Autolus operational activities (e.g. site qualification, site setup, patient treatment)
➢ Manage compliance-related activities (e.g. periodic audits)
➢ Provide clinical instruction to clinical staff (e.g. AE Management Guide, Package Insert [PI])
➢ Oversee activities in patient treatment areas to ensure Chain of Identify (COI) per SOP protocols Drive appropriate utilization within account(s)
➢ Assess performance of Autolus’ therapies within account and develop and execute strategic account plans to drive appropriate utilization
➢ Working in close collaboration with Marketing and Medical Affairs, routinely meet with key ATC stakeholders to educate on the use of Autolus’ therapies and communicate the latest approved messaging and clinical data
➢ Maintain clinical expertise in basic principles of Hematology, Immunology, aALL disease and treatment and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Support key Autolus strategic activities
➢ Provide Medical Affairs colleagues with appropriate feedback and insights from interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs)
➢ Provide support at professional meetings, including staffing exhibits, reporting on scientific sessions, and facilitating meetings with TLs
➢ Facilitate and provide timely feedback to appropriate Autolus management regarding account business trends, changes in the therapeutic landscape, industry issues and business opportunities
➢ Cultivate relationships and actively participate in grassroots advocacy / engagement activities within territory to align with regional and national initiatives

Operate in compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Autolus activities
