This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join the cellular therapy coordination team. Any potential applicants should have relevant knowledge and skills. The Haematology Oncology service at the Christie offers state of the art treatments delivered by leading clinicians to patients with blood cancers and across the Manchester Region and beyond. The post holder will be managed by the Senior Cell Therapy Co-ordinator and supported by the Cellular Therapy & Transplant Programme Director. The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating the treatment pathways for patients requiring CAR-T and Haematopoietic stem cell transplants within the Cellular Therapy Program at the Christie Hospital, ensuring the provision of effective and specialized care to this patient group whilst working in close conjunction with the cellular therapy consultant team, lead transplant/Cellular Therapy Coordinator and apheresis co-ordinators.
To coordinate the pre-admission treatment pathway for patients/donors requiring CART/ATMP treatments and stem cell transplantation.
Work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to co-ordinate and plan treatment pathways for patients requiring these treatments within the trust and externally.
Management of a designated patient work load ensuring all pre admission and pre collection requirements have been correctly undertaken, documented and reviewed by the clinical team with support from lead coordinator
Liaise with Medical team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual pro-grammes of care and protocols. Reviewing and assisting with standard operating procedures and actively involve with the regulatory accreditation such was JACIE and HTA
The post holder will be required to work autonomously and exercise a high level of clinical expertise, exceptional role model, excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy.

EDUCATIONAL
Provide specialist education and training on the management of cellular therapy treatments delivered, sharing awareness/education with patients, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
Maintain own professional development ensuring educational and mandatory training needs are met.
Remain up to date with current protocols and practices, maintaining specialist knowledge of cellular therapy treatments
Represent the organization and department nationally and internationally as appropriate
Promote a learning environment in which individuals take ownership for their professional development. Develop and deliver education programmes as required in conjunction with the practice educators.
