Candidate Profile As a Cellar Person, you are responsible for ensuring all inventories are kept at the optimum level, inspected the stores daily and request replenishment if necessary. The ideal candidate will be able to organise stores, control goods and prevent loss through theft and spoilage and that all the stores are kept in hygienic condition. You will work closely with the F&B cost controller regarding month end inventory counts and investigate significant discrepancies. You will also be responsible for all incoming goods being covered by a purchase order as well as a delivery note/invoice and that all goods are of the required quantity and price. Key Requirements The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes: Good command of the English language and excellent communication skills Computer skills including MS Excel, MS Outlook is essential. Experience working with Procure Wizard, purchasing system is preferred. This role will involve manual handling (pushing, pulling, lifting and operating equipment) and heavy lifting will be required Proven track record within a similar role in a luxury environment Problem solving, negotiation and time management skills In return We believe in recognising and valuing the contributions of our team members.
