Description
We are looking for an Intern who has good understanding of programming and of wireless technology. In this role you will be at the center of a silicon design group responsible for physical layer system and algorithm design for pioneering wireless SoC products, with a focus in wireless system design, modeling, and simulations. DESCRIPTION You will take part in the pioneering work of creating and developing simulation models for innovative PHY signal processing, Layer 1 control and Layer 2 algorithms which enable cellular modem system design and verification for very high-data rate applications. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Contribute to cellular link-level and system-level simulator modeling as well as framework development - Maintain and improve our automated simulation regression test environment running on internal compute clusters at scale e.g. by optimizing job scheduling or creating monitoring dashboards - Work on advanced methodologies for 3GPP compliant test case creation including AI/ML assistance and apply them to extend our existing test case suite MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in a Master Degree program in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of English Currently enrolled in a Master Degree program in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. In order for students to be eligible to do an internship with us they must be going back to university to finish their studies once they have completed the program
Responsibilities
You will contribute to cellular link-level and system-level simulator modeling and framework development. Additionally, you will maintain and improve the automated simulation regression test environment.
