REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must have passed Editing I.
Any additional software and editing knowledge is beneficial to the role, but not required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Specify if the student must have taken and passed Editing I. Higher level courses and knowledge are beneficial.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

No experience required

As a Lab Assistant your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Answering questions about Avid and other software.
• Helping students follow workflows
• Troubleshooting technical issues (this includes both software and hardware)
• Reporting issues to IT and Facilities
• Assisting Faculty with any needs within the labs
• Enforcing building policies

Work Conditions: Continuously walking around the lab and bending over to see computer screens will be necessary. Rolling chairs are provided and you are not expected to stand for your entire shift.
