QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred) Previous experience working with school-age children (day camp experience a plus!) Experience in sports, arts & crafts, music, skits, outdoor games, or aquatics is a bonus! CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention Training (must be completed within 30 days of hire) Ability to lead, participate, and have fun in both indoor & outdoor activities Ability to attend the mandatory summer day camp training. WORK LOCATIONS: Bartlett YMCA Schilling Farms YMCA Olive Branch Family YMCA WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:45am-3:15pmPlease Note: Work hours may vary based on the operational needs of the summer camp site. Responsibilities

Counselors must actively participate in and supervise all camper activities to ensure an engaging and dynamic experience while prioritizing camper safety both on-site and during outings. They are expected to be positive role models, foster a fun and structured environment, uphold camp policies, and maintain clean camp spaces.
