Code Ninjas® is Canada’s fastest-growing kids coding franchise. At our centres, children ages 5–14 learn to code in a fun, engaging, and non-intimidating environment by building video games. Our centres are places where kids feel they belong, and parents love seeing their children gain confidence and skills in coding, math, logic, STEM, and problem-solving as they progress from white to black belt.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Centre Director to lead our team at Code Ninjas North Vancouver. The Centre Director is responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading and developing staff, ensuring a safe and fun learning environment, and upholding the Code Ninjas brand. This role also involves engaging with children and parents, managing marketing efforts, and driving enrolment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Children: Prior experience working with children ages 5+; passion for youth development.
  • Fluent English: Strong verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
  • Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with coding is a plus; strong comfort with technology and office tools.
  • Business & Leadership: Experience in business operations, sales, and team management is preferred.
  • Marketing Skills: Ability to manage social media and local event marketing.
  • Adaptable Schedule: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
  • Positive & Energetic: Fun, approachable, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-Oriented: Excellent organization, analytical thinking, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a strong ambassador of the Code Ninjas brand in all interactions.
  • Staff Leadership: Train, support, and manage staff to deliver high-quality camp and program experiences.
  • Lead Conversion: Follow up on inquiries, schedule centre tours, and assist families with registration.
  • Marketing & Events: Plan and implement event-based marketing campaigns.
  • Student & Parent Engagement: Build strong relationships with families; communicate progress clearly.
  • Supervision: Lead a team of instructors (Code Senseis) and support their professional development.
  • Safety & Culture: Maintain a fun, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Standards & Cleanliness: Uphold company standards in all aspects of centre operations.
  • Problem Solving: Think quickly, adapt as needed, and respond to centre needs proactively.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to owners and collaborate with other centre leaders.
