JOB SUMMARY

The Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the non profit community center, in the dining room, Thrift store and Food bank. We are a small center, 4 other paid employees and volunteers. Working with Seniors and having NACOG experience is a must.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees all staff and volunteers.
  • Monthly NACOG invoicing and reconciliation of Congregte Meal Attendees.
  • File yearly reports with Arizona Corporation Commission.
  • Prepare and RFP for NACOG every four years.
  • prepare requests donations
  • Maintain all records on donors and ensure timely receipt of tax credit letters
  • Ensure yearly Fire inspections, Health department inspections, NACOG Audits, Business Licenses are completed and documented
  • Contact insurance companies for acquired ACORD forms each year and provide to State of AZ and NACOG
  • Maintain audit ready records for NACOG contract compliance, Navajo county, Insurance companies, etc.
  • Attend bi-annual NACOG meetings in Flagstaff, AZ
  • Ensure all quarterly and yearly reporting and tax filings are completed in timely manner.
  • Plan and implement special projects and activities
  • Prepare and maintain AIR and other reports as required
  • Ensure center facilities, equipment and ground are maintained and repaired
  • Design, post, procure advertising and flyer material for the center and thrift shop
  • Ensure monthly menus are prepared, approved by NACOG Nutritionist, posted internally, sent to the newspaper, posted on Facebook, and updated on center website monthly
  • Maintain website and Facebook page
  • Maintain staff and volunteer schedules
  • daily lunch sign in and congregate meal tracking as required by NACOG
  • Prepare weekly bank deposits
  • Order food and supplies
  • enter all food and supplies purchases by item. All Safeway, Shamrock receipts, etc.
  • Complete monthly inventory and cost of meal calculations
  • Prepare reports and packets for and attend monthly Board meetings. Ensure Arizona Open Meeting law is observed, and proper notification and posting of all meetings is completed.
  • weekly upload to NACOG Share of all new congregate members
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures documentation
  • Keep up with any changes to labor law - Federal and State
  • Prepare semi-annual NACOG reports
  • Promptly implement new or revised State, Federal and local requirements
  • Maintain an ongoing training program with a requirement for training provided each quarter. this is an audit requirement.
  • Daily receipt and accounting of all cash and funds received
  • Weekly computer backup
  • Monthly check of kitchen tracking and bathroom, kitchen maintenance items
  • open and close thrift shop daily
  • Ensure Treasurer has all autopay receipts that arrive via email. Responsible for all center email
  • Go to post office a minimum of twice a week
  • work with other organizations locally, i.e., Safeway
  • Generate W2’s yearly. Pre-order of forms required
