Marketing and Sakes Center Manager – entry level Huntington Learning Center
Location: Pittsford / Rochester, NY
Type: Part time 20 to 32 hrs.
$33K to $47K/ year (hourly plus bonuses for goals achieved)
Huntington Learning Center, the nation’s leading accredited tutoring and test prep provider, is seeking a Marketing Center Manager to lead our team and drive growth. For nearly 50 years, Huntington has helped students unlock their potential. What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the center with accountability for enrollments, revenue, and retention.
  • Conduct sales consultations, follow-up calls, and parent conferences that lead to enrollments and long-term relationships.
  • Build strong connections with local schools, counselors, and community partners to drive referrals and expand reach.
  • Execute marketing initiatives including community outreach, partnerships, and local events to grow brand awareness.
  • Recruit, coach, and motivate a team of tutors, ensuring high-quality instruction and staff engagement.
  • Handle parent concerns, scheduling challenges, and unexpected issues with confidence and resourcefulness.
  • Use data (scores, hours, revenue, ROI) to inform business and academic decisions.
  • Take ownership of growing sales opportunities: re-engage families who hesitate or withdraw and convert interest into active enrollments.

  • Sales and growth orientation: Proven ability to enroll families, follow up consistently, and meet ambitious goals.
  • Strong interpersonal intelligence: Skilled at building trust and motivating both families and staff.
  • Problem-solver mindset: Comfortable making decisions in challenging situations and finding solutions that protect student success and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience in sales, business development, or education management preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
