We are looking for an OUTSTANDING DISPATCHER in the Phoenix area! A Dispatcher's job involves coordinating and managing the logistics of a mobile workforce, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery. They act as the central point of communication, scheduling, and problem-solving for their team. Summary This position is responsible for scheduling jobs, equipment, and operators. Following all DOT regulations. Confidently communicate with customers to fill their requests. Essential Functions Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of rental equipment. Receive and process customer/salesman orders Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Review, approve, and process daily operator payroll, documenting errors and inconsistencies. Daily matching of orders with completed work tickets. Ensure all work tickets are signed by customers. Calculate work tickets, verifying quoted pricing. Responsible for the payroll process to include creating all jobs, all payroll & credit card transactions. Post the daily schedule. Prepare and research credit memos for approval by the manager. Assign specific equipment and operators to orders and create schedules (both daily and long-term). Follow sales commissions program (proper coding for customers and territories). Maintain asset inventory and location status. Daily review of submitted quotes. Notify manager and Safety Committee of all reported incidents and ensure incident reports and drug/alcohol testing completed. Other duties as assigned. Verify maintenance request and send to maintenance department. Maintain operators’ hours of driving and work to follow DOT compliance. Safety Follow all DOT regulations Play an active role in the development of the safety culture, making safety a natural part of all work performed. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Identify and report safety concerns. Perform assigned duties in a safe manner. Qualifications General Requirements 2 PLUS years of experience in Dispatching is a PLUS! Knowledgeable in the DOT regulations Excellent customer service skills, customers come #1!!! Problem solver Multitasker Excellent organization, communication, follow-through, and execution skills. Confidence in working closely with management. High level of accountability, discipline, and attention to detail. Ability to work well with a team. Flexible and able to balance shifting priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to follow company policies and procedures. Proficient with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, as well as industry-related dispatching software. If an offer is made, be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
