Qualifications Minimum EMT Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED State of Georgia EMT Certification. Basic Life Support Certification PHTLS or equivalent certification (within 6 months of hire date) EVOC or equivalent certification Current State of Georgia Driver's License ***Note anyone requesting 911 must have previous 911 experience or are required to start in IFT.
