Description
Strategic Finance Leadership: Act as a trusted partner to Central Engineering executive management, providing financial leadership, actionable insights, and decision support to drive investment strategies and operational execution. Opex & Capital Oversight: Collaborate with Operations to manage Opex within targets, prioritize projects, and oversee capital spending plans and tracking. Quarterly Planning: Lead quarterly Opex planning by project, including labor, controllable expenses, depreciation, and allocations. Present comprehensive Opex plans to senior management. Business Case Analysis: Contribute to quarterly updates of R&D program business case NPV models, including forecasting revenue, cost of sales, Opex, and cash flow. Resource Allocation: Partner with SPG BUs on central engineering resource planning, execute PRM resource allocation processes, and ensure alignment and clear communication. Financial Forecasting & Decision Support: Prepare and present financial forecasts, offering data-driven recommendations to support strategic decisions. Systems & Process Optimization: Collaborate within Finance and BU teams to implement tools such as Anaplan, SAP BPC, Tableau, and PRM to streamline R&D spend reporting and analysis. Model Development: Build ad-hoc Opex models to support long-term strategic planning. Data Integrity & Storytelling: Ensure accuracy of financial data and help leadership craft a compelling narrative of the BU's performance through forecasting, budgeting, and financial close processes. Executive level communications but also aptitude to drive detailed process and data analytics to support engineering program management. 10-15 years of experience in corporate finance, preferably in semiconductor or components manufacturing. 2+ years of people management experience preferred. Very strong Excel skills, including modeling Strong systems capabilities, preferably with Anaplan, SAP BPC, tableau and PRM Analytical and problem-solving skills Interpersonal skills to engage with partners to understand key issues, develop recommendations and implement actions to improve the business results Experience in P&L reporting and analysis Basic accounting knowledge Other valued characteristics - Assertiveness, initiative, communication, curiosity about the business, team oriented, collaborative Experience in semiconductor equipment or other manufacturing enterprises
