Job Overview The Central Investigations Analyst is responsible for analyzing shortage and cargo theft data to support Supply Chain Asset Protection investigations and mitigate losses. What You Will Do * Analyze and compile comprehensive shortage and cargo theft data and reports for field investigators and senior leadership in Asset Protection. * Assist in preparing cargo theft case presentations for law enforcement and prosecutors. * Maintain detailed records of all findings, results, and data related to ongoing investigations. * Develop and maintain dashboard reporting for key performance indicators (KPIs). * Implement and execute shrink reduction strategies. * Communicate effectively with field investigators and Asset Protection teams across the supply chain to raise awareness of shrink reduction initiatives and procedures. * Conduct surveillance, including CCTV monitoring, to document and build cases involving suspected theft, fraud, and violations of company policy. * Collaborate with store and field Asset Protection teams to investigate and resolve issues related to concealed shortage and pilferage. * Assist in presenting completed investigations to senior leadership in Asset Protection. * Work closely with law enforcement and company legal personnel when necessary. * Organize evidence and materials for use in criminal cases, and testify in court when required. * Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and initiatives, maintaining high standards of integrity and confidentiality. * Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.  * In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned. Skills You Will Need Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and compile shortage and cargo theft data, identifying patterns and trends to support investigations and loss mitigation. Investigative Expertise: Experience in assisting with case presentations for law enforcement, maintaining detailed records of findings, and conducting surveillance (including CCTV monitoring) to document theft, fraud, and policy violations. Reporting and Dashboard Creation: Proficiency in developing and maintaining dashboard reporting for key performance indicators (KPIs) to track shrink reduction and investigation progress. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to field investigators, senior leadership, and law enforcement, as well as raising awareness of shrink reduction initiatives across teams. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with field Asset Protection teams and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues related to shortage and pilferage. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of CCTV systems, FLO, Receiving systems, EDI, ASN, and Direct Scan technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as handheld technology. Detail-Oriented: Ability to organize evidence and materials for use in criminal cases and present them effectively in court when needed. Problem-Solving: Resourceful self-starter, capable of working independently and collaborating as part of a team to resolve issues. Legal and Compliance Understanding: Ability to interpret legal documents and procedural manuals, and understand the legal implications of investigations and evidence handling. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to relate and communicate effectively with individuals across all levels and socio-economic backgrounds team, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Who You Are * Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. 3-5 years of direct experience.  * Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms. Requires close vision and the ability to sustain extended periods of CCTV and/or PC screens to facilitate surveillance or analysis. . * Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs.
