In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining Bluebird’s high-quality and food-safe products by supporting quality control systems and performing analytical tests to keep our manufacturing processes on spec. You’ll also provide hands-on support to production lines on a rotating shift basis, helping ensure every snack meets the standards our customers love and trust. Details Location: Wiri, Manukau Shift: Weekend Day Shift Hours: Saturday and Sunday - 7am to 7pm / Monday - 7am to 3.30pm Position: Fixed Term Contract Selection Process: Formal Interview - Online Assessment - Background and Pre Employment Medical Checks – Decision Responsibilities Perform analytical testing on products and raw materials to ensure specification compliance. Maintain and verify laboratory and online analytical equipment. Manage non-conforming product, Critical Control Point checks and sanitation verification. Deliver QFS training and uphold ASHA and QSHA program requirements. Support audits, complaints investigations, and trend analysis. Champion quality and food safety on shift, providing on-line support as needed. Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Food Science or B.Tech (Food) with relevant experience in the food industry. Strong understanding of processes, raw materials, and packaging systems. Excellent technical, analytical, and writing skills with strong numeracy and literacy. Proficient in quality systems, document control, and computer applications. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and innovative with strong planning and organizational abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and across functions.
