Location: Katowice, Poland Hybrid About the position We are looking for a Central Logistics Inventory and Cost Specialist based in our Katowice HUB. This role will ensure timely and accurate inventory bookings in compliance with internal controls, validate 3PL charges, and support the timely and accurate payment of related costs. Within the given scope, the role will also focus on optimizing and standardizing processes across all DCs in the region, while supporting European KPI reporting. Inventory House Keeping (70%): Resolve timely any failed interface idocs and assure that WMS inventory is mirrored to our SAP inventory level on daily level. Prepare Pareto analysis on failed idocs and root cause analysis. Indicate to Logistics IT and Market Logistic Specialists any structural improvements needed in the interface set-up or in the operational ways of working, aiming to reduce the % of idocs failing. Monitor and act on the event of deficit or surplus on primary transport, aiming to have these resolved in less than 2 weeks. Run the open delivery report on weekly base and fup with CS and 3PL to have those settled. Aim is to have zero unjustifiable open delivery by month end. 3PL Cost control and timely payment (25%): Raise ARIBA POs based on budget, proceed with relevant Goods Receipts and assure that all invoices get processed and timely paid. Validate charges prior to ARIBA goods receipt. Validation includes Fuel surcharge mechanism as well as energy mechanism. Provide month to date cost estimates. Report any Value Added Services charged by 3PL. European Central KPI reporting (5%): Monthly update the central KPI reports and collect feedback from Market Logistics Specialist. So what does it take to be successful in this role? You have a university degree in Science, Engineering, or Economics, ideally supported by logistics or supply chain experience gained through internships or professional roles. You bring an analytical mindset and demonstrate ambition, proactivity, a solution-oriented approach, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. You are fluent in English, with any additional language beyond Polish and English considered a plus. You have strong Excel skills, while experience with SAP and Interface is an advantage.
