POSITION SUMMARY

Establish and communicate the salary levels for existing and new employees, adhering to best practices.
Serve as an internal and external subject matter expert, frequently advising others on complex matters.
Provide thought leadership and contribute to broad organization-wide projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of seveen (7) years of related experience will be considered.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of compensation management protocols and best practices for calculating rewards packages
  • Ability to recommend solutions to management which may influence future course of action, aligning with cultural values
  • Ability to manage complex projects, programs, or processes
  • Ability to develop and implement new processes and procedures as appropriate
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a wide variety of constituents, with the ability to take initiative to continually develop relevant skills
  • Ability to pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action while maintaining the ability to manage work
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively
Responsibilities
  • Complete new and innovative work that requires in-depth analysis to understand and solve problems that span a wide range of difficult and unique issues.
  • Complete salary letters for all new hires and promotions, ensuring that compensation changes are accurately reflected.
  • Research certification updates from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) and enter any relevant promotion data into the system.
  • Calculate and process salary adjustments with precision, addressing any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Hold weekly meetings with the Human Resources team to discuss updates, resolve issues, and align on strategic HR initiatives.
  • Execute compensation-related administrative tasks as necessary to support departmental operations effectively.
  • Recommend solutions to management that may influence future HR strategies and align with organizational cultural values.
  • Manage a wide range of difficult and unique compensation-related challenges, contributing to the department’s continuous improvement efforts.
  • May provide input to develop action plans for the department to achieve outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
