What You’ll Be Doing:
The Central Supply Technician performs the daily activities involved with all aspects of decontamination, cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, assembly and surgical supplies and equipment distribution including case carts function. The Central Supply Technician assists department supervisors in coordinating daily work levels to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency throughout all department functions.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: HS Diploma/GED/Vocational with previous Central Service or Surgical Tech experience preferred.
Certification: CRCST – Certified Registered Central Sterile Tech required
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years central processing preferred.
Skill set: Sterilization supplies and requirements, equipment and instruments; organizing, containing, and transporting items of varying compounds, textures or quantities; transporting and disposing of hazardous materials and sharp objects according to hospital procedures.
