Provide consultation and training to the Service and Parts departments on all matters related to warranty. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in warranty systems, and the ability to collaborate with service/parts/sales/admin teams to resolve discrepancies promptly. Responsibilities: Assists in developing and implementing standardized warranty claim processes. Administers and processes Parts and Service warranty claims. Interacts with Parts/Service personnel to acquire required information for claim submission. Administers returned claims and follows up on requests to ensure claims get processed. Posting/reconciling John Deere and Short-Line credits. Administers other activities including but not limited to: – JD Promise claims and credits – Purchasing PowerGard – Processing Short Line product registration – Reconcile the 105 report – MASS channel programs and processes – Process OFR requests from Lowes/HD – Processing JD shipping damage claims – Low labor Credit follow up and resubmittal of claims Trouble shooting claims and credit discrepancies. Works with service managers to ensure there are no expired Product Improvement Programs. Understands warranty regulations and ensures compliance with Warranty policies. Communicates to departmental management about warranty status on a regular basis. Any other Duties assigned by the Warranty Manager. Requirements Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: 2+ years experience with Service Department operations. Experience with basic computer functions; experience using dealer business system and John Deere Warranty system preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience working cooperatively in a team environment. Able to work efficiently unsupervised. Experienced in communicating effectively. Experience analyzing and interpreting internal reports.
