We are seeking a Centre Administration and Engagement Officer to support high-impact research that advances workplace gender equality. As the Centre Administration and Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Centre’s mission to advance gender equality and create inclusive workplaces. In this role, you’ll provide vital administrative and engagement support to our leadership team and members, helping ensure our operations and stakeholder relations run smoothly and effectively. You’ll also contribute to strategic initiatives across our core focus areas: shaping the future of work with gender equality at its heart, addressing gender disparities, aligning work and care, and fostering cultures of inclusion. This is an opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who values collaboration and is passionate about enabling research and advocacy that drive real social impact. Your key responsibilities will be to: contribute to a positive, high-performing and collaborative team environment reporting to the Research Operations Manager oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality and efficient administrative support for the Centre efficiently manage stakeholder relations including communications, diaries, events, travel, accommodation, purchasing, contract and payment processes create a safe & welcoming space by overseeing facilities, championing health and safety, and maintaining a great work environment ensure timely report submissions, data integrity, and adherence to university policies handle communications, support strategic planning, and foster collaboration. About you tertiary qualification or equivalent working experience experience providing high-level administrative support in not-for-profit or research setting strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills, with the ability to build and foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and partners demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills, including secretariat skills such as diary management and expenditure management and control computer proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using project management tools highly regarded demonstrated capacity to work effectively with colleagues to assist in meeting project, budget and reporting milestones ability to take initiative with a problem-solving mindset.
