Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

St Heliers Correctional Centre is seeking highly motivated individuals to provide a range of administrative and clerical services such as offender administration, financial, purchasing, cash handling, asset and records management. You will be required to create, compile and distribute quality documents demonstrating a superior and well-structured writing style for effective operation of the work area in accordance with legislation, policy and practice.
To be successful for this role, you will display integrity at all times and be a true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will maintain confidentiality at all times whilst utilising your proven experience and knowledge to meet the demands of this role effectively. Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast-paced role. Previous financial and accounting experience preferred, but not essential.
