Your next career opportunity As Centre Administrative Officer, you will provide high-quality executive support to the Centre Director and COO, managing diaries, correspondence, travel and confidential documentation. You will gain experience in finance processing, event and committee coordination, and stakeholder engagement across a multi-institution Centre hosted by the School of Physics. What you will deliver: Provide Executive Support: Manage the Centre Director’s calendar and email, arrange travel, and handle confidential correspondence and tasks. Coordinate Committees and Events: Schedule and service Executive and Advisory Board meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and support Centre visitors and events. Operational and Financial Administration: Process reimbursements, reconcile credit card expenditure and support administration of internal funding schemes. Stakeholder Engagement and Team Support: Maintain relationships with partner organisations, support shared inboxes and SharePoint sites, and provide backup assistance to the central administrative team. You may be a great fit if: You are a confident minute taker with strong written communication and attention to detail. You possess experience with finance systems, purchasing cards and expense reconciliation. You have solid event coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You are proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint and comfortable managing group inboxes.
