Description

You shall perform the duties reasonably assigned to you by the Company, including but not limited to:

  • Oversee the overall daily operations, administration, and strategic planning of the Centre.
  • Develop, design, and deliver Chinese performing arts courses, including drama, recitation, and stage performance.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to students, and evaluate their performance progress.
  • Plan and organize cultural events, performances, and competitions representing the Centre.
  • Lead media and marketing initiatives, including promotion of programmes, student recruitment, and public relations activities.
  • Manage sales activities related to media partnerships and sponsorships, ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with parents, students, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Uphold the Company’s values, ensure compliance with policies, and contribute to the growth of the Centre’s reputation.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College or above in Performing Arts, Chinese Literature, Education, or related disciplines.
  • Professional training in drama, recitation, or stage performance is highly preferred.
  • Teaching qualifications or certifications (e.g., PGDE, Diploma in Performing Arts Education) are an advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in performing arts education or cultural arts management.
  • Proven track record of teaching Chinese performing arts (e.g., drama, recitation, stage performance) to children or young adults.
  • Experience in managing educational institutions, arts centres, or cultural organizations is desirable.
  • Familiarity with event planning, media promotions, and community engagement.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Capable of mentoring and coaching students in performance skills and personal development.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging and culturally rich programmes.
  • Strong command of spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese); English proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to manage marketing campaigns, media relations, and partnership development.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet sponsorship and revenue targets.
