ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Cumberland City Council proudly operates 13 Education and Care services across the community where our staff educate and care for children from birth to 13 years of age.
Across our long day care, out of school hours care and family day care services, our staff are passionate about empowering today’s children to become tomorrow’s future by teaching children to be respectful, resilient and confident in an environment that is accepting, safe and inspiring.
Council is looking for an Out of School Hours (OOSH) Centre Director to lead a professional Education and Care team. In contributing to the vision and mission for Education and Care, the primary focus of this visible leadership role is to lead the team to deliver a high quality children’s program to the community that is innovative, supports best practice, is driven by ongoing improvement and places children at the centre of decision making.
In 2025, we are also partnering with an external sports provider to provide a structured after school sports program within our OOSH program.
