THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Centre for Cardiovascular Science (CVS) is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Centre Manager on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will temporarily assume responsibilities for key projects and day-to-day operations as we currently navigate through a period of strategic change to enhance our services and streamline our operations therefore applications would be welcome as a secondment opportunity or on a fixed term nature.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

• Degree in relevant subject (business/finance) with professional experience in a relevant role or a professional experience in a relevant role – demonstrating a broad range of experience.
• Have experience in a line management role.
• Demonstrable experience of managing/reporting and forecasting large financial budgets.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as high level organisation skills.
• Be able to manage resources and workload.
• Demonstrate ability to identify and manage risks, implement change effectively where required.Proven experience of implementing changes to processes and procedures.
