Our client is looking for a Centre Principal (Preschool) to oversee the overall operations and management of the preschool centre, ensuring high standards of curriculum delivery, staff performance, and a safe, nurturing learning environment in line with early childhood education guidelines.
Location: Paya Lebar Area

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (Leadership) or equivalent.
  • Certification recognised by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) with L2 certification or above.
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a preschool setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood curriculum frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and child development.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the preschool centre, ensuring compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements (e.g. ECDA).
  • Lead and manage a team of educators and support staff to maintain high standards of teaching, care, and professionalism.
  • Ensure effective implementation of the preschool curriculum in alignment with early childhood education frameworks.
  • Monitor children’s learning and development, and work with teachers to support differentiated learning.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children’s holistic development.
  • Manage centre administration, including budgeting, enrolment, resource planning, and operational matters.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with parents through regular communication, meetings, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support professional development and performance reviews of teaching staff.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation as required by authorities or management.
