About the opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for a Centre Project Officer to join the Centre for Child and Adolescent Health Research (CCAHR) based in Westmead. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting impactful health and research initiatives. Working across the Centre and the Clinical Academics Group (CAG), you will play a pivotal role in the establishment, coordination, and ongoing success of key programs, helping to build the Centre’s profile and operational excellence. This is a hands-on and varied position supporting project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and administration across multiple workstreams. You will help coordinate activities, manage communications, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the Centre’s reach and impact. Your key responsibilities will be to: coordinate activities and initiatives of the Clinical Academics Group (CAG) support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of website content and digital resources contribute to projects that establish, promote, and enhance the Centres visibility and engagement manage the Centres membership portfolio, including records management, reporting, and related processes coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, ensuring effective planning and delivery provide comprehensive project administration and logistical support across multiple workstreams assist with project financial administration, including budget tracking and reporting liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration and delivery outcomes support data collection, reporting, and performance monitoring against key KPIs contribute to the planning, coordination, and monitoring of project deliverables to ensure successful implementation About you You are a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in dynamic and evolving environments. You enjoy bringing structure to complex workstreams and are confident working with a range of stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. essential skills & experience experience coordinating projects, programs, or stakeholder groups within a complex environment strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively experience in website content management and digital communications, with an eye for accuracy and usability excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences experience coordinating meetings, events, and stakeholder engagement activities sound experience in financial administration, budget tracking, or project cost support proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of Adobe tools highly regarded desirable experience experience working within a healthcare, research, university, or academic environment experience supporting a Clinical Academics Group, research network, or similar collaborative initiative experience managing membership databases, stakeholder networks, or CRM-style systems Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
