Description

Medivet are seeking a Certificate Holder (Medicine or Cardiology) Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Medivet Ashton 24 Hour.
Ashton has historically been a leader in practising minimally invasive surgical techniques.
We are looking to build on the strong surgical foundations of this practice with the addition of a Certificate Holder ideally with a surgical or medicine bias but open to a variety of disciplines.
The clinic itself is great, with a large prep area, imaging suite, and bespoke dog and cat wards with a separate isolation area. The site is supported by its own highly experienced OOH team who work closely with the day time to ensure good handover and excellent patient care.
We are committed to providing work life balance for the team and we would be happy to consider flexible working or school hours friendly working arrangements.
This role is 40 hours over 4 days with 1 in 6 full weekends.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
  • Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
  • Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture.
  • Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency.
  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
