Description The Certification Representative provides expertise and processes documentation and communication within their scope and training on initial and recertification processes. This may include email communication, review of applications for initial and continuing education, review of audited applications, and storing documentation. Recertification Activities: Participate in onboarding, education, and training on National Registry applications, audits, and policy and procedures. Processes various types of initial certification, recertification, and audit applications. Communicates effectively with candidates or certified individuals by answering questions as necessary. Participates in meetings as requested by the Senior Recertification Specialist and/or Certification Manager. Assists with any other certification team-related tasks as assigned by the Senior Recertification Specialist. Requirements Education, Experience, Certification, and Skills Requirements: High School graduate required. EMT or Paramedic state license required, current or lapsed. NRP certification preferred. 1-2 years of job-related experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience or familiarity with policies and procedures a plus. Job Competencies: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while maintain high ethical standards and integrity. Proofreading, accuracy, and strong attention to detail. Highly organized with superior documentation management. Possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Utilize planning and organizational skills to assist with completing tasks in a timely manner. Specific Requirements: This is a part-time seasonal/temporary position that requires a minimum of 10 hours of work per week. Must be able to commit to 10 hours per week during the October to April recertification season Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must be able to accomplish tasks via the electronic environment, such as video conferencing and digital collaboration. Must be able to effectively use a keyboard.
