EnviroNova is a leading environmental consulting company and has an opening for an experienced Field Technician with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. This position reports to the VP and President, along with other staff and, at times, clients.
Primary consulting services consist of asbestos and lead-based testing, microbial and mold contamination issues, bacteria testing, indoor air quality, and wildfire smoke damage assessments in both private and public sectors. EnviroNova offers a robust environment for learning a wide variety of industrial hygiene and environmental assessments, with potential to travel outside California for short-term project assignments.
This employee will also work with clients on project definition, task identification, budget, and schedule, while overseeing teamwork and ensuring project objectives are met. The qualified individual will love the opportunity to expand their experience and training into other areas of health and safety compliance to provide additional environmental consulting-related support.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass security clearance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. degree in Environmental Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate and annual updates a plus
• Certification as a Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) is required
• Certification by CDPH for lead-related construction activities is required (LI/A, LPM, etc.)
