Runway Health Newmarket is a patient focused health clinic which provides the following services:

• Physiotherapy
• Chiropractic
• Registered Massage Therapy
• Spinal Decompression
• Laser Knee Decompression
• Shockwave Therapy
• Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine

We are looking for a candidate who is able to work independently, have good hands on treatment skills, and confident with teaching exercises.

The physiotherapy assistant’s roles would be:

• Hands on treatment of patients
• Delegation rehabilitation from physiotherapist
• Setting patients up on spinal decompression
• Setting patients up on knee decompression
• Administering shockwave therapy sessions
• Doing laundry during spare time
• Administrative tasks including booking patients, billing insurance, collecting payments and more.

The assistant can also make bonus commissions by making product sales (compression stockings, TENS Units, custom-orthotics, orthopaedic braces). The assistant will receive 10% of the gross profit of the device (typically $35-50 per device).
Previous experience in a health-setting is an asset.
Full training will be provided. We believe in building a high-quality culture of the clinic and are looking for someone motivated and willing to learn.
