Job Duties:

  • Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment
  • Operate and monitor sterilization equipment (e.g., autoclaves)
  • Inspect, assemble, and package instrument trays
  • Label and store sterilized items properly
  • Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and reorder as needed
  • Perform quality control checks on sterilization processes
  • Distribute sterile instruments to hospital departments
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate with surgical staff to ensure equipment availability

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technician certification from either the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
  • Travel required
  • Candidate must be live in more than 50 miles from Oklahoma City, OK
