We are seeking an experienced Certified Construction Materials Testing Technician or Special Inspector to join our growing Meridian, Idaho team. General Responsibilities The Special Inspector is responsible for monitoring materials, installation, fabrication, erection, and placement of construction components to evaluate compliance with plans and specifications. Also will provide accurate preparation of electronic daily field reports that summarize services provided and calculation of test results. Requirements WAQTC Certifications: Aggregate Asphalt I Embankment & Base In-Place Density ICC Certifications: ICC Reinforced Concrete ICC Pre-Stressed Concrete ICC Structural Steel and Bolting ICC Structural Welding ICC Spray-applied and Intumescent Fireproofing Other Preferred Certifications: ACI Certified Field Testing Technician Grade I or higher Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Additional Requirements: Positive attitude with a customer service approach. Effective verbal and written communications skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Ability to drive throughout our northern Idaho service region. Comfortable using computers and mobile devices such as a tablet to record field data.
