JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice to work with Orthodontist, Periodontist and General dentist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans, coordinating care, and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of dental terminology, and familiarity with various dental software systems.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in dental assisting roles.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical coding is essential.
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques and 3D scanners is a plus.
  • Understanding of anatomy knowledge related to dental practices.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient treatment plans and communicate effectively with patients regarding their care options.
  • Manage scheduling of appointments and follow-ups to ensure timely treatment.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
  • Assist in chairside procedures as needed, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
  • Conduct vital signs checks and assist with medical imaging when necessary.
  • Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality care across various specialties including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics.
  • Uphold infection control standards and aseptic techniques within the clinic.
