JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the practice.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after procedures.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when necessary, including handling patient inquiries.
  • Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric dental care as required.
  • Understand and apply medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
