JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Level II Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant. Must be self-motivated and team oriented, should work well in a fast-paced environment. Working as part of the clinical team, you will assist the dentist with all procedures, and contribute to the effective running of the clinical department. Experience preferred but not necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency with dental office software (Abeldent)
    -Ability to follow IPAC guidelines
    -Knowledge with Sterilization
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Able to take radiograph x-rays - must be HARP Certified

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Maintain accurate patient records and electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Coordinate patient referrals
  • Provide administrative support to the dental team as needed
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
