We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but new Graduates welcome
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
  • Experience in pediatric or orthodontic settings is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Certification in Dental Assisting
  • HARP certification a must

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including assisting in specialized areas such as pediatrics or orthodontics.
  • Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Epic for record management and appointment scheduling.
