Description Location: Fully Remote (Must be licensed in Texas) Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Friday | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) About the Role We are seeking a patient-centered Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) who is also a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our remote clinical team. While this role includes diabetes education, it is not limited to diabetes care. You will provide comprehensive nutrition and health counseling to a diverse patient population—including individuals managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, as well as patients focused on weight loss, GLP-1 therapy, and overall health and wellness. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys practicing across the full spectrum of metabolic health, preventative care, and behavior change, and building meaningful patient relationships in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities Provide diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) Deliver medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for: Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, prediabetes) Hypertension Hyperlipidemia Weight management and obesity Support patients on GLP-1 medications, including: Nutrition guidance Side effect management Sustainable lifestyle strategies Counsel patients seeking general health and wellness guidance, including those without chronic conditions Develop personalized, evidence-based care plans aligned with patient goals Use motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques to drive outcomes Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams as needed Document patient encounters accurately within telehealth systems Requirements Qualifications Active CDCES certification (required) Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (strongly preferred) Current Texas licensure Minimum 1+ year of experience in diabetes education and/or clinical nutrition Experience with weight management and/or GLP-1 therapies strongly preferred Strong understanding of cardiometabolic health (diabetes, hypertension, lipids, obesity) Excellent communication and patient engagement skills Comfortable delivering care via telehealth platforms Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment What We Offer Consistent 3-day workweek (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) Fully remote position Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunity to work in a growing, forward-thinking metabolic health model Collaborative and supportive team environment
