Job Description What you will do in this role: You have the ability to impact our patient’s lives on a daily basis by influencing the nourishment we provide them. This is an important role that we take seriously. Providing a home like environment includes the provision of tasty, nutritional and appealing food. It can be highlight of their day. You will manage a team, do the menu planning, manage and order stock, adhere to IDPH regulations and jump in where needed to add hands-on support. It’s a big job in a very busy commercial kitchen. In our facility we feel the Certified Dietary Manager is pivotal to the recovery & dietary needs of our residents. Qualifications Certified Dietary Director: officially we title this job a Certified Dietary Director (CDM), but in other centers it may be called a Dietary Services Manager, Director of Dining Services, Food Service Manager, or Director of Food and Nutrition Services. Whatever you call it, it’s an important job!
