OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a home setting. This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals.
You must also be registered in the Alberta Directory as an HCA.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in assisted living, hospice care, or home care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and safety protocols.
  • Experience working in nursing homes or similar settings is an advantage.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
  • Certification as a nurse aide or relevant training in caregiving is beneficial but not mandatory.
