REQUIREMENTS:

✅ Health Care Aide Certificate (from a recognized institution) or Nursing/Medical credentials
✅ English language proficiency (proof required)
✅ Ability to drive and access to a car is an asset

✔ SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION

✔ Signing bonus (after completing a set number of hours)

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:PRIVATE CARE DUTIES:

  • Assist with mobility, including walking and transfers/lifts
  • Monitor and record vital signs
  • Support clients with range of motion exercises
  • Prompt and assist with medication intake
  • Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance
  • Assist with hygiene needs (bathing, oral care, toileting, peri-care)
  • Provide engaging companionship and meaningful activities
  • Assist with shopping and errands
  • Transport clients to and from appointments

INSTITUTIONAL CARE DUTIES:

  • Provide quality care within care facilities while adhering to facility guidelines
  • Assist with hygiene, nutrition, exercise, and rest
  • Support client elimination needs and safety
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment
  • Respond to emergency situations as needed
  • Work collaboratively with facility staff to achieve team goals
  • Follow all assigned care plans and document care provided
